eva Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 For p1d1: p -> m(l)=-1,0,1 and m(s)=+1/2,-1/2 d-> m(l)=-2,-1,0,1,2 and m(s)=+1/2,-1/2 When I did the table, I got 60 microstates. I was wondering if it was correct because I don't know how to enter it in the n(microstate) equation. I don't know if i=8 and j=2 or i=5 and j=2 and neither of them give me 60 anyway. Could you please explain what I'm doing wrong there?
