RARE High-Thorian Uraninite from EASTON PA FS/Trade

Featured Replies

FS/Trade: Extremely Rare High-Thorian Uraninite in Serpentine Rock from Easton, Pennsylvania. This material was mined from the C. K. Williams quarry of Easton, PA. It ranges from 800-850 million years old and is a highly- metamorphic rock. Grains of High-Thorian Uraninite make this ore the only Primary deposite of Uranium in the State of Pennsylvania. This deposite was first found in the 1930’s, and was studied until the early 1960’s. This is a very rare mineral, never seen for sale.

You can read more about this mineral here (written in 1957) -
