punkmin Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Hi guys Just a quick question: is a T-lymphocyte bigger than a B lymphocyte? By about how much? I will appreciate a good answer!
Variola Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Hiya B cells, in their normal state are about 10-15 micrometers in size and T cells are about 7-8 micrometers, so they are smaller. That is only general though as you have to account for different types of B and T cells and what they are doing. Lymphocytes as a whole and subpopulation of T cells are considered. cell structure is characterized by reference to the polarization analysis of flow cytometry.
