I was just having a think, and wanted to know if there was a place on earth, where the gravitational field strength: g = 9.81 m/s2 = 32.2 ft/s2 (standard)

is stronger than elsewhere. I thought that the equator, or the magnetic poles may be candidates for this trail of thought.

Would love your input,

at the equator g is less(further from the center of mass) and at the poles it is more(closer to the center of mass)

being near large mountain ranges can also affect the reading.

its not a large difference but it is there.

Heavy mineral deposits are found through the use of gravity strength measuring equipment. so just standing in the right place (where the sub-terranian stata is denser) will have a higher gravitational "pull" than another less dense area at the same elevation and latitude.
