Genecks Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 (edited) Evaluate these statements: 1) Our science is only as good as our math. 2) Our science is only as good as our logic. Edited June 15, 2010 by Genecks
AzurePhoenix Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 Both statements are declarative sentences, and are each nine words long. The second differs from the first in ending with the word "logic" rather than "math," making the second statement one letter longer than the first.
iNow Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 I'd say they both miss the point, and I'd rephrase it by saying, Our science is a method, and hence is only as good as the method we fallible humans choose to use when conducting it. Although, Azure beats me completely on style points. 1
A Curious Kid Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 Evaluate these statements: 1) Our science is only as good as our math. 2) Our science is only as good as our logic. I think that our science is only good as our questions which we ask and the answers which we seek.
Joatmon Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 The steps of the Scientific Method are: Observation/Research Hypothesis Prediction Experimentation Conclusion http://www.sciencemadesimple.com/scientific_method.html As well as we can follow these steps?
