Four entries in 'My Comments' contain the instruction "Call this number on Skype" followed by a mobile telephone number, is this gewnuine or some sort of scam?

Probably some sort of scam or spam.

The new skype installs a browser add-on that sometimes shows phone numbers as a clickable skype button with a "Call this number on skype".

 

I can't know for sure without seeing these comments, but it might be that the addon thinks some random number is a phone number and displays this button.
