yoshhash2 Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 (edited) Apologies if this is not in the right category. I can't find advice to this anywhere. I am installing solar panels on my roof. I want to know beforehand if it will interfere with incoming satellite signals, or with outgoing antennae signals (we rent out space to a radio station broadcast antennae). Even if you don't know the answer, some generalities would help. I have been told that since solar panels do not transmit a signal, it is completely irrelevant- true or not true? swansont Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 It depends on the kind of antenna you have. They should not affect a directional antenna at all. They will reflect signal so for other types they will be a source of multi-path interference. Did you have a problem from the building causing interference before?
