If you move the first letter of each word to the back it is then spelled the same way backwards as it was originally spelled.

That was very quick!

DJBruce is right -

Place the first alphabet of each word as the last and you get Palindromes.

Banana = anana B

Dresser = resser D

Grammar = rammar G

Potato = otato P

Revive = evive R

Uneven = neven U

Assess = ssess A

The 2nd letter until the last letter are palindromes (meaning they're the same if you read them front to back and back to front).

Hmm... funny how the other posts didn't show on my screen, and I really thought I was the 1st to reply to this one...

Sorry tto be a spoilsport. Its a good puzzle but taking the first letter away and putting it at the end does not make a palidrome. Whichever end it is placed you are still one letter short of a palindrome.

Removing the first letter makes it a palindrome, though.

Strictly speaking you are correct. A combination of letters doesn't have to make sense to be a palindrome. :)
