I have a quick Spectrophotometry question!

A solution of the nucleotide base uracil, in a 1mm cuvette, has an absorbance at 260 nm of 0.65. Pure solvent in a matched quartz cuvette has an absorbance of 0.07. What is the molar concentration of the uracil solution? Assume the molar absorption coefficient is 8.2 x 103 M-1 cm-1

Well, this looks suspiciously like homework.

All you need to do is plug the figures into your basic equation, so what part are you stuck on precisely?

If it's not homework: was the spectrophotometer "zeroed" using clear solvent before measuring the uracil solution?
