EllChrTie Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 For my post-lab in Chem, I cannot find the information relating to the melting and boiling points of the following ions: Ammonium (NH4^+) and Carbonate (CO3^2-). Does anyone have this relevant information? We are supposed to find outside sources, but I didn't come across any thus so far.
Horza2002 Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Try looking in a book of data. They usually have all sorts of useful data like melthing/boiling points
Fuzzwood Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Ions do not have melting and boiling points. Only their salts have.
dttom Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 I don't think you can find mp or bp of other ions like the common ones, Na+ and K+. You should be looking for compounds.
