rigney Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 (edited) I wonder what happened there? It's been said that four or five of these alien bodies were flown in from Rozwell, Texas to Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio, back in the late forties. A lot of folks swear to have seen them and honestly, I worked with a guy who would take an oath that he had seen them also. Could it be something like GOD? A lot of people see and talk to him, but no one actually believes it other than the nuts themselves. Ah well, who knows? Edited October 5, 2010 by rigney
Marat Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 That first fellow was not the best spokesman I've ever heard. Generally, I tend to disbelieve that UFO phenomena point to the existence of any actual objects flying around, since they move too fast and along trajectories which are aerodynamically impossible. From the well-known erratic and hyper-fast character of UFO motions, they seem more like lights, perhaps produced by electromagnetic fields, than like objects. There is now a well-established theory that UFOs are actually lights produced in the atmosphere by the electromagnetic forces resulting from geologic stresses operating under the ground below them. Since there is a very high correlation between observations of UFOs and areas of known geologic stress, it seems quite likely that this is the cause of the lights so often reported. Roswell-like accounts of alien space ship pilots found may be either hoaxes or something independent of the many sightings of UFO lights. Possibly some small percentage of the UFO light phenomena reported are actually not produced by geologic stresses and are instead actual spacecraft or some sort of time travel devices. But since after about 120 years of sightings of these things in the U.S. there is still no concrete evidence of anything to settle the issue, I doubt that there ever will be.

Lights in the sky is not what the UFO phenomenon is about... The fact that most people think this is due to the very successful disinformation campaign by the US Air Force... From sightings of multiple witnesses compounded by multiple radar sightings and visuals by a group of aviators who were carrying nuclear weapons the UFO phenomenon has never really been investigated, only debunked at any cost by the US Air Force, this disinformation campaign by the US Air Force still poisons the well of UFO evidence to this day.

Do you suppose those sightings of UFOs might be somewhat like the "Miracle of Fatima" where those kids saw the miracle happen, yet no one would believed them? Sort of makes you wonder? Moontanman Posted October 5, 2010 Author Posted October 5, 2010 (edited) Do you suppose those sightings of UFOs might be somewhat like the "Miracle of Fatima" where those kids saw the miracle happen, yet no one would believed them? Just wondering? I have no doubt that some sightings do indeed resemble that sort of thing but that again is still a small subset of UFO sightings and it does not cover even a tiny number that need to be taken seriously, that doesn't necessarily mean they are aliens space craft but something really unusual is behind these things, some do indeed leave behind physical effects a few are so inexplicable it's difficult to imagine what they were with out taking into the possibility the accounts were something not of this earth.... To show the Air Force and the way they have dealt with it... One "sighting" occurred over a nuclear missile base, people on the ground (several independent groups from several independent directions) saw the UFO as it moved slowly over the missile silos, it was seen as it left the area by a commercial airplane crew, then the crew of a B-52 bomber, it was tracked on ground radar and the radar of the B-52, it was visually seen by the crew of the bomber as a physical object Huge, as big as if not bigger than the B-52, not a light in the sky. It was seen near the ground as a physical object as it hovered over missile silos, missiles went dead in the silos as it moved over head, the official explanation? Everyone saw Venus.... It may well have been something more mundane than a alien space craft but Venus? Piss on me if you must but don't tell me it's raining... Edited October 5, 2010 by Moontanman

Hey, a little 'wee' on your cuff isn't a bad thing if it's done with levity, know what I mean? As far as E.T.s,? There may be a universe full of them. Couldn't even speculate? Or maybe even just around the corner in the next solar system from ours, who knows? I just don't believe it's "Soylent Green" time either. If they are smart enough to get here and wanted to use us for that, we'd be gone by now. Anyway, they wouldn't have to come sneaking around, but Just open up the speakers and yell, "WE"RE" here, and start herding us in. It's religious nut cases like those below that trouble me. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/10/05/AR2010100505911.html Edited October 6, 2010 by rigney
