Ron Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 In order to remove paint from our skin, why do we use turpentine? Why doesn't water remove the paint? I guess it has got something to do with miscibility/immiscibility of liquids but I don't know the exact reason. Thanks, Ron
Mr Skeptic Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 Yes, turpentine for oil-based paints, water for water-based. Though to remove from your skin should be very easy, try removing it from the brush using the wrong solvent.
