Hy guys

I realy need help on the questions below:

An Operating System contains event management and process management modules, the interface of WAIT (event) and SIGNAL (event) operations to achieve hardware and software synchronisation. The interface of the later includes:

BLOCK (process) and UNBLOCK (process)

a) Outline the data structures you would expect to find in these modules to support event and process management.(5)

B) Describe the interactions between these modules as the system runs.(5)

c) Discuss the problems that arise if concurrent invocation of the event management module is possible

d) Describe how these problems may be avoided if the OS is guaranteed to run a uniprocessor

e) Describe how these problems can be solved for a multiprocessor implementation

Ahh homework. I'm not sure what the rules are here, but usually it is you need to do it yourself. Where would our most trusted scientists and theologians be if we all asked on the internet?

Unfortunately, these are not the sort of questions people "need help" with, you have to study and figure it out; that is after all the point of homework. If you tell what you got so far, we could check for mistakes (not me though, I don't know operating systems).
