What certification do I need to buy Cadmium Oxide

Hi, I am obsessed with nanodots and want to make some. I am wondering if anyone know what kind of certification i would need to buy cadmium oxide and selenium to make them. I have degree in physics but I do not work as a chemist or in the science field right now. Any help would be great! thanks

Maybe you could just ask one of your chemist friends? Or a colleague's chemist friend?

In the UK you wouldn't need any certification other than proof of identity (you might need to sign the poisons register)

The tricky bit would be finding someone who was prepared to sell.
