justin8606 Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 (edited) I'm trying to make a catapult to test the accuracy of 4 different textured objects. I have to shoot from 3 meters away or farther. What can I do to improve accuracy? Edited November 17, 2010 by justin8606
Incendia Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 (edited) Your question doesn't really make sense...Accuracy is how close to your target you shot the object. Nothing to do with the object. Though objects with less air resistance will go further. (As long as you aim well) Edited November 17, 2010 by ProcuratorIncendia
imatfaal Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 To PI the projectile/object design can make a difference to one's ability to be accurate - we put flights on arrows and darts to help steady flight, a cricket ball polished on one side and rough on the other can swerve and swing (admittedly it's spinning as well as flying thru air), and I would find it much easier to throw a ball of scrunched up paper into my bin than a paper aeroplane. To OP I think to get much help you need to be more forthcoming in the constraints and desired results of your experiment.
