I thought this thread could use a bit of a pot-stirrer, but in hindsight it was probably more interesting from a middle ground perspective. I think the comparison is good evidence of the value of fiscal conservatism, not so much regarding the party-line ideologies. I miss "Give 'em Hell" Zell.

John Cuthber Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 When did American politics last see the middle ground? From my point of view in the UK , the US has two right wing parties. Many people in Europe see the UK as right wing (not without reason) and think the US is way out to the right.
