Kerry Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Does anyone know of any good science TV programs coming up in the next couple of months?
Incendia Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 (edited) You should specify Tv programs in the title... Programs on: -Wallace and Gromit: World of Invention -It's only a theory Probably a few others. You can find them on iplayer. The categories option lets you find factual programs and then lets you only show science and nature programs. I makes it easier to find them. I have a Nintendo Wii and I have found the iplayer channel so very useful. I can watch science and nature programs without having to wait for a load of terrible programs to end first or worrying about satellite connection problems. Kerry Posted November 29, 2010 Author Posted November 29, 2010 I was more after anything that was goingto be shown in the next few months - I've tried looking at the BBC website but they're not very forthcoming with information!
Incendia Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 Next few months?! Your think they are going to post their plans for the next few months?! They probably don't even know the specifics yet. Information like this is usually only released a week or two before the programme is shown.
Severian Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 (edited) These is one coming on in the new year hosted by Brian Cox and Dara O'Brian, but I have forgotten the name. Edit: Found it. It is called Stargazing Live http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00wnvpf Edited November 29, 2010 by Severian
Dave Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Not really seen a huge amount on. It doesn't seem like we've had any decent science shows broadcast anywhere in ages. I used to watch Horizon et al, but quickly got very frustrated with them. The most recent ones seem pretty trashy. Although it's not English, I, personally, like MythBusters quite a lot, although I'm hesitant to call that science
