divy Posted December 16, 2010 Share Posted December 16, 2010 According to de broglie wavelegth = h/mv where h=plancks constant , m = rest mass of body , v =velocity of body but for a photon rest mass = 0 therefore it should have wavelength equal to infinity but it is not true light waves have certain wavelength .
