Competitveness whats the positive side of it?

Whats the negative side?

In my personal expirience being competitive makes me try harder to win than the average person.

But this could be misunderstood by people.

survival of the fittest.

This answers alittle of the question. Like our ancestors, Natural selection, we still have some primal traits.

Today, survival of the fittest isn't nessasarly "strongest" or "fastest", it adapting to todays world.

The advantage of being more competitive than others is that if you are successful than you are at an advantage. The disadvantage is that if you aren't successful than you have wasted a whole lot of time and energy.

If stupid people continue to produce more offspring they will bring the mean down to their level and wont be the stupid anymore. Clever bastards.

It is also fun when people are competitive. When you are tring your hardest at something, along with others. It's fun. If we weren't competitive people we would have sprots. If you look in time, the first olympics were help in cometitive matter. Competitive behavior through sport (no one died) although war can also be seen as competitive behavior. Esspecially in older times.
