Cap'n Refsmmat Posted September 22, 2004 Posted September 22, 2004 What is your favorite source for research? Not just science information, but anything.
Phi for All Posted September 22, 2004 Posted September 22, 2004 Wikipedia, HowStuffWorks.com, MotionMountain.net. Can't wait to get others, good idea Cap'n!
Pangloss Posted September 22, 2004 Posted September 22, 2004 Caught an article somewhere this morning, I think it was at Neowin.net, saying that the Wikipedia was over one million articles now. I guess my biggest complaint about Wikipedia would be that it could use Google's bad spelling fixer. I've lost track of the number of times I've failed to find something in the Wikipedia, gone over to Google, and found the first entry from Google's search results to be an article in the Wikipedia (spelled correctly). (hehe) Google is usually my first stop, but lately it's becoming my first stop *after* Wikipedia.
ydoaPs Posted September 22, 2004 Posted September 22, 2004 SFN or...a library...or encyclopedia...or e-mail with scientists that are prominent in the scientific community edit: 3 posts in one minute. very impressive

Let's see... google... wikipedia... sfn... other people... I just wish I had more!

Dave Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 I do like Science magazine's website to catch up on the latest stuff: luckily my uni has a campus license so I can access it whenever.
