Rusty123 Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 Hello all, I am a current Biochemistry Graduate Student and need to pick a couple of topics to write research proposals on using the NIH research proposal format. I came on this forum because I have been searching for a couple of weeks now and I haven't found anything that interesting. I need some topics which that are current and could maybe provide up to 2 years of research. If you have any ideas or have seen any interesting journal articles I would appreciate it! Thank you. (Also, these topics would not be for my current research, we are supposed to write hypothetical research proposals so they can be on any topic.)
mississippichem Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 Kinases that exhibit "faster than diffusion" kinetics seem to be a hot topic right now, especially if you do computational work.

First, I think, see your supervisor past research area, or other graduate student's paper in your lab. And determine your research field. Practically it is not easy to establish advanced research without research facilities and past experiences in the biochemical research.
