Let us think about this case.

When there are anti-hydrogen and anti-deuterium, and there is a fusion reaction between them.

Is it a exothermic reaction or endothermic reaction?

For example

hydrogen + Deuterium fusion------------> exothermic +

Hydrogen + Anti-hydrogen fusion -----------> exothermic +

Anti-hydrogen +Anti-deuterium fusion -----------> ???

Is Hydrogen + Anti-hydrogen fusion energy 2 m(hydrogen mass) C2 ?

How do you propose to fuse matter and antimatter? I would think that they just annihilate and everything is converted to energy, with an extra particle released here and there, depending on the situation.

I saw something last night that stated that annihilations usually release more energy than fusion. As far as fusing two antimatters go, thats pretty far out there, but I would venture to say that energy is created, though when you factor in what it takes to create antimatter, your returns are probably diminished.

If mass loss occurs, energy will be released. According to present knowledge, I think, the reaction is assumed as exothermic reaction.
