Hi,

I had originally posted this incorrectly under Molecular Biology and Biochemistry.

I am reposting here as this seems the more appropriate forum.

Hi,

I am looking for someone who has the facilities to conduct a modified Luria-Delbruck fluctuating test.

I am willing to pay for the same as a service.

Please contact me through email (melanon@gmail.com) or by phone +91 9841119309.

Please make note of the following requirements for the project.

Minimum of 200 plates for parallel cultures

Digital camera for high resolution images of cultures (need time to be recorded with the photographs)

Thanks in advance

Quite a few views but no replies.

Well, here's the reason why I am looking to do this. I believe that Luria and Delbruck made a small error in the protocol, and the intepretation, which therefore points the way towards Random mutation rather than Directed mutation.

In other words, I am hoping to prove using Luria and Delbruck's fluctuating test itself that it is Directed mutation and not random mutation that is the cause for the phage resistant strains that were observed.

Any takers now?
