apricimo Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Hello, I am trying to install Rosetta Commons on my Mac (Snow Leopard) and if anyone has done this please help me out if you will. Or if anyone has ever used the terminal to install any of these types of programs that require "Scons" and so forth please be in contact with me via private chat where we can exchange an email. Thank you
Xittenn Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Hi! I don't have an answer to your question but I am wondering ... I just downloaded Rosetta Commons under non-profit/academic licensing and am wondering which platform is best to install on a secondary partition on my computer to run it? These are the options I need to dual boot because I will want to maintain my Windows partition. Ubuntu is not supported, lol ... * Darwin Kernel Version 9.6.0: root:xnu-1228.9.59~1/RELEASE_I386 i386 Scons script: v1.2.0.r3842 gcc-4.0.1 * Darwin Kernel Version 9.5.2: root:xnu-1228.8.59~2/RELEASE_I386 i386 Scons script: v1.0.1.r3363 gcc-4.0.1 (GCC) 4.0.1 * Linux 2.6.27-9-generic #1 SMP x86_64 GNU/Linux Scons script: v0.98.5.r3057 gcc (GCC) 4.1.1, gcc (GCC) 4.2.4, gcc (GCC) 4.3.2 Note: GCC with Ubuntu 4.3.2-1ubuntu12 and any version after it does not work * Linux 2.6.10-1.741_FC3smp #1 SMP i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux Scons scripts v0.98.5.r3057 gcc-4.1.1, gcc-3.4.4 * Linux 2.6.9-78.0.8.ELsmp #1 SMP Wed i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux Scons scripts v1.2.0.r3842 gcc (GCC) 3.4.6 20060404 (Red Hat 3.4.6-10) Don't hurt me I'm sure I said something stupid ah well I went Fedora Gnome 32 I hope it works .....
