Not to mention it allows a deviant to intermingle with other deviants and find out how to better commit crimes. For the most part there is no 'perfect' answer to deviance. If you take someones eye they are permanently disabled, imprisonment is relative to the crime, also i was looking at it from an idealogical point of view so i wouldnt have criminals "mingling". I agree there is no objective answer but like we was saying earlier things like prison are more intersubjective than physical harm.
