CaptainPanic Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 By the sound of it, you need Windows XP, and an Office 2003. That runs on nearly any old computer... and I agree with your boss that you need to be a lot more clear about why you would need an upgrade of your 'so called technology'.
rktpro Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 Get - Windows XP Adobe Reader Microsoft Office 2003 (you can try 2010 if you think your PC isn't old enough) Any Antivirus. ( If your Boss if a Tech-Geek kinda person then ask him for his advice.

Phi for All Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 ! Moderator Note Thread moved to Computer Help. Suggestions is for site improvement only! hello guys.i am totally clueless here. i work in the court to my place and I NEED some upgrade with the so called technology! my boss won't allow me too unless I provide him with such notes and what programs I should provide to make him say yes. It might help to know what you have to work with. What kind of computer do you have, what programs are on it already? And I also agree with your boss. A list helps him see that you understand what you're doing and also gives him some boundaries to work with. Be very clear about what you need and he may be more cooperative.
