ghijk Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Do you think anarchism and it's principles are only an idea? Do you think government allow crime to exist? The anarchists consider that it would disappear in the atmosphere which is contrary to the one we have right now. Is that harmony which anarchism mean possble in society and our lifes? Is it possible in this times when the society is becoming more and more sterile?
lemur Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 The thread title seems ironic to me since "society" refers to organized social relations and "anarchy" refers to disorganization in social relations.
John Cuthber Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 ghijk, Have you seen what has happened in Somalia? That's pretty close to an anarchist country; and it's not a nice place to be.
ghijk Posted March 27, 2011 Author Posted March 27, 2011 (edited) The thread title seems ironic to me since "society" refers to organized social relations and "anarchy" refers to disorganization in social relations. Maybe it seems to you because usually the anarchy is equivalent to disorder and disorganisation. But secondly, anarchy refers to a social state characterized by absolute direct democracy or libertarianism. Society is also a simple community among the people, and it is formed from pure need of an individue to communicate with others, but not to be controled and restricted. ghijk, Have you seen what has happened in Somalia? That's pretty close to an anarchist country; and it's not a nice place to be. That's not an appropriate example of anarchy. They don't have moral principles which are the base of anarchism that destroy remains of authoritative system. Edited March 27, 2011 by ghijk
