Hey all, I've been thinking about this for a little while, and my searching around has brought me here. This seems like a great forum!

If I were able to teleport, what would happen if I teleported to a higher elevation?

For instance, I live near sea level (around 400 feet above sea level), what would happen if I teleported to a mountain at 10,000 feet? Would I experience the bends or something similar? On that matter, how quickly are you able to safely ascend to higher elevations?

Firehawk, 10K ft is not that high up. A small unpressurized aircraft can climb this high in a few minutes. During this period one would "pop" one's ears to equalize external with middle ear pressure via the Eustachian tube. Instantaneous transportation would require a slow (i.e., a few minutes) equalization of air pressure to avoid pain. SM
