First you need to go insane. To help with this goal I suggest you come hang out on the chat room. Edited April 5, 2011 by Schrödinger's hat 1
timo Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 The obvious choices seem to attend a university course. Or, if that is not possible, get a proper textbook (ideally one with exercises in it) and learn from that. In case you are already attending a QM course at university: pre-prepare the lectures at home, go to the lectures, do your homework, ask the tutor if things are not clear or you get ideas beyond the course material. There's nothing that makes a QM lecture conceptually different from any other physics lectures.
1123581321 Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 you could try giving yourself an overview of the field(s) (what is quantum physics), so you have a fairly good general idea of what the field(s) contains, then work your way or start rather on the basic concepts (atomic structure) and move towards the more complex theory (energies and so forth).. fairly logical, but hope it helps. Otherwise university and textbooks are your best options and obviously the internet..
