Widdekind Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 In crossing the cosmos, could photons ever encounter fleetingly ephemeral particles-antiparticle pairs, which happened to 'pop' into existence in their path? If so, would such scatterings accumulate, over cosmic time scales? What would be the effect (tired light) ?
