boris_73 Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 is sulfuric acid the same as sulphuric acid only spelt wrongly, well the american way if so i have found a density chart for it which is what i needed.
Caustic Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 i guess we americans dont like to put extra silent pointless letters in our words
budullewraagh Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 i do i do i do good day, neighbour. do you know the flavour of this alloy of caesium and aluminium? if you do not wish to speake with me, please jump of the harbour
Gilded Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 "and so I throw a mole of Sulphuric into the ocean and expect the density to change? :)" Talking about throwing things into the ocean, here's a fun fact: If you were to throw 8g of H2O in the ocean, if it were to divide evenly among all sea water in the world, you could take a liter of sea water from any depth, any location, you would have about 200 molecules in it that were originally from the 8g you threw in.
YT2095 Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 cool factoid and so with todays modern forensic testing, it really WOULD be possible to find out Who peed in the pool! )
boris_73 Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 they can do that now anyway carnt they because they put a chemical in which changes colour when somebody pees, and also did you know the reason why americans do not spell words the correct way is because they had to simplify words for immigrants who were not able to pronounce them correctly arnt they nobel:)
