Why, despite all the flaws in the big bang theory, does the model endure?

Basically it endures because it works better than any other model we have.

 

That web site says "Please see below for a summary of eleven of the current and significant flaws in the theory."

However there are no flaws listed on that site.

There are links to a bunch of other pages and they seem to witter on about using anti hydrogen as a space travel fuel (which is speculative at best).

 

If you want this thread to go anywhere I suggest you succinctly list what you think are the flaws and then, in all sensible probability, people here will show why they are mistaken, not based on evidence, or irrelevant.

They list is there, the article spans 11 pages and the list of flaws starts at page 6.

 

Although my first expression when skimming through it, is that the writer lacks necessary knowledge of modern cosmology and fails to understand the basics of Big Bang theory that is needed to compose an article of this magnitude. Much in the article is wrong down to simple basics thereof.

 

Actually the whole article seems more geared towards claiming some huge conspiracy amongst scientist to scam goverments to build more particle accelerators, like LHC or CERN, so they can produce large amounts of antimatter for secret usage. Which seems rather silly to claim.

 

 

If you want this thread to go anywhere I suggest you succinctly list what you think are the flaws and then, in all sensible probability, people here will show why they are mistaken, not based on evidence, or irrelevant.

If the OP wants to discuss any of the "flaws" raised in the article, I agree that it would be good to point out which one and maybe whats troubling with it.

While there may be many sound reasons to question the BB, the "biggest" point of conjecture are the words: Create, Creation and Creationism. Other than speculative, no one really knows for sure where this universe came from. If you are religious, follow your faith. If you are a scientist, you follow your nose into a theory and get it rubbed into the dirt on many occasion as pay for your troubles. At this point, I give science the edge. But being agnostic, let's not rule religion totally out.

If you would like some feedback on the flaws then please list them here. I expect that most of them are due to misunderstanding or misinterpreting the model and the words of cosmologists.

Because the following more correct understanding is not generally accepted, yet.

 

The Universe is, or the local Universe we exist in is in, a jet.

The clusters are headed along this path because the Universe is, or the local Universe we exist in is, a jet. Analogous to the polar jet of a black hole.

The reason for the 'expansion' of the universe is the continual emission of aether into the Universal jet. Three dimensional space associated with the Universe itself is not expanding. What we see in our telescopes is the matter associated with the Universe moving outward and away from the Universal jet emission point. In the image above, '1st Stars' is where aether condenses into matter.

Dark energy is the change in state of the aether emitted into and propagating through the Universal jet.

 

It's not the Big Bang. It's the Big Ongoing.
