mattpbarry Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 Hi guys, I basically just want to know if there is a test to prove the presence of methane in a gas. I am looking for something like the CO2 test with limewater and not 'just light it and look for a flame'. Thanks
skwiff Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 lighting a match would be most simple... i know this is complex and might not work... but convert it into a halocarbon then do a halide test
