It is used medicinally in small doses. Absorbed through the skin, it produces bad headaches. An NG headache is a recognized OSHA incident. NG can misbehave if you get it hot, or cold. NG decomposes in an autocatalytic reaction, so storage can be a problem. Best not mess with it unless you know what you are doing.
