Can anyone help me out with Ciguatoxins?

 

(A) What kind of functional groups are present?

I came up with methyl, ether, alcohol and alkene is this correct?

 

(B) How many chiral bonds are present?

I got 2 but some how think im not right ....

 

© How many moles of Bromine would react with 1 mole of this compound?

I got 4

 

(d) What is the R,S assignment to the four sterogenic centres in the sub-section of the Ciguatoxin molecule?

 

This I have no IDEA..

A. I wouldn't call a methyl group a functional group. You maybe need to think in more general terms than that.

 

I can't really help with the rest until I know which Ciguatoxin you're talking about. Can you post a picture?
