What does the " diamagnetics Repulsion" with a magnet mean ??

 

does copper for example do that ??

When we are talking about super conductors and maisner phenomenon What causes it ?

 

Is there a current initially in the superconductor ?

 

Or is the current induced by the magnet ??

Diamagnets repel because the magnetic dipoles induced in the diamagnet line up anti-aligned with the external field (N-N or S-S)
