Firedragon52 Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 I'm kind of stealing this poll from another site. but, its a good question. Reeves was a proponent of stem cell research. Kerry even mentioned him in his presidential debate. What do you think?
Douglas Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 There may be a short spurt of attention, but in the long run, I doubt it.
badchad Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 One man probably won't affect the legislation on stem cell research... he's not superman ya know.......
Lance Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 I hate to say it but he was forgoten after he fell. Nobody cared 5 years ago and nobody does now. As soon as he stoped acting for the most part he just didnt have much of a voice. This is the first I have heard of him in years.
MolecularMan14 Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 I agree w/ Douglas. In the long term, it really wont affect anything much.
ydoaPs Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 I hate to say it but he was forgoten after he fell. Nobody cared 5 years ago and nobody does now. As soon as he stoped acting for the most part he just didnt have much of a voice. This is the first I have heard of him in years. then you haven't been looking very hard. he hasn't stopped acting(ex. Smallville) and he has a stem cell foundation thingy
Mad Mardigan Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 It will boost a little for a short term.
Lance Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 then you haven't been looking very hard. he hasn't stopped acting(ex. Smallville) and he has a stem cell foundation thingy If you have to look to see him then of course people wont notice him. He was only in smallville for one eposode wasnt he?
ydoaPs Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 two, and he has been in multiple movies since his fall.
john5746 Posted October 14, 2004 Posted October 14, 2004 Hopefully it keeps some people from trying to make horses jump over things. Very dangerous sport - don't try it at home. He emphasized that the eggs need not be fertilized, is this true?
Penticostal8 Posted October 14, 2004 Posted October 14, 2004 I don't see Reeve effectin Kerry in anyway. Mosy people by now already know who their voting for, I don't thing it will change. And for peole who still don't know who their voting for. You all have no morals.
john5746 Posted October 15, 2004 Posted October 15, 2004 You all have no morals. You hurt my feelings! I may never post again,
drz Posted October 15, 2004 Posted October 15, 2004 hmm, so undecided voters are immoral people? Could you atleast attempt to rationalize that statement? Anyhow, I too agree that Chris's death will not do much for stem cell legislation. I was really shocked to hear about his death, I thought he was actually in pretty good health, aside from his injury. A shame, for he was definetly one of the louder voices for advancing research into not only stem cell, but other methods of restoring mobility to paralyzed people. One another note, I too agree that people need to quit riding horses. They can't enjoy it, they'd probably be much happier stomping around without some 180+ person riding on their backs. Besides, its 2004 and we got motorcycles that actually do what you tell them to do.
