(You do realise that you are making me disgustingly jealous of your access to amazing archeaological sites, don't you? ) Come, now. We Brisbane-ites have access to all sorts of historical sites. Like, erm..city hall, where they recently dug up old and apparently interesting bits of discarded rubbish from last century.
michel123456 Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Brisbane? So you are from the antipodes. This Internet is truly amazing.
JohnB Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Come, now. We Brisbane-ites have access to all sorts of historical sites. Like, erm..city hall, where they recently dug up old and apparently interesting bits of discarded rubbish from last century. True, true. And I understand that while expanding the Convention Centre they found a midden heap nearly 400 years old that had oyster shells in it. An archaeological find that rivals the Acropolis itself.
