Cap'n Refsmmat Posted October 25, 2004 Author Posted October 25, 2004 I could pre-register you for you. Quite odd that I can do that, but I can.
5614 Posted October 25, 2004 Posted October 25, 2004 i have to register again (i registered to the original, but the new dont recognise me anymore) so ill just register again.
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted October 25, 2004 Author Posted October 25, 2004 Yes, I can't "import" members from one to the other. Although I already have more members than the old one had.
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted October 25, 2004 Author Posted October 25, 2004 Actually if anyone here knows great HTML and stuff I'd like to make you administrator, since there are a few things I'd like to change that I don't know how to modify. Preferably a responsible person, like Sayo.
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted October 26, 2004 Author Posted October 26, 2004 Hmph. He hasn't joined yet. Anybody?
5614 Posted October 26, 2004 Posted October 26, 2004 i know basic HTML stuff and some random advance stuff, what do you wanna do?
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted October 26, 2004 Author Posted October 26, 2004 I need to get it to display something near the top of the page, as a link. A news thing.
tecoyah Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 Just thought I would issue an invite to the "Tilted Forum Project" I did not supply a link, as I don't know the actual policy here , and don't want to site plug This is a very entertaining forum...and is in need of people of intellect.....which is why I have posted here. Let me know what you think. if you would.
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted October 27, 2004 Author Posted October 27, 2004 So you're inviting us to something you won't tell us the address of?
MolecularMan14 Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 lol. I think its ok to post a link, you wont get in any trouble here.
tecoyah Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 Sorry, didn't want to piss anyone off. here is the link http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/index.php enjoy
Dave Posted October 28, 2004 Posted October 28, 2004 I need to get it to display something near the top of the page' date=' as a link.A news thing.[/quote'] Take a look at the Invision Board mods. I'm sure there'll be something there of interest/what you want.
atinymonkey Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 I have a forum http://www.theismforums.net It's gReAt
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted October 29, 2004 Author Posted October 29, 2004 ...even though there are hardly any members. I'll join.
Halash Posted October 31, 2004 Posted October 31, 2004 look at this! http://s4.invisionfree.com/The_Future_of_Space/
atinymonkey Posted November 2, 2004 Posted November 2, 2004 ...even though there are hardly any members.I'll join. Heh, that's because I'm buzy at the moment. I haven't told anyone it existed for them to join. I'm going to invite the religious trolls to it, for a free discussion that's not going to result in bannage.
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted November 2, 2004 Author Posted November 2, 2004 Ooh, that would be especially fun.
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted November 2, 2004 Author Posted November 2, 2004 look at this! http://s4.invisionfree.com/The_Future_of_Space/ Shall I link to it from my forum?
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted November 24, 2004 Author Posted November 24, 2004 I'm kind of dissapointed in how many people I've gotten... so I went and added links to it on Wikipedia. That should surely get me some more members...
J'Dona Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 I'm going to go bug my brother about it now so that he starts posting on your forum again! He probably only stopped because we went to California for ten days shortly after I showed it to him, and he probably got mixed up with college work as soon as he was back. ...Since this thread technically doesn't state which forum it's for, I'll post a link to mine as well! It's a bit dirt and only has one (1) member (excluding myself and one other who doesn't post), but I only intend for it to reach about 40 or so anyway. It's a creative writing forum where people can share actual work and leave/receive feedback, like a creative writing class except free and always running, so that memebrs can constantly improve. Here it is: http://logorrhoea.livejournal.com/ And yes, it's just a livejournal community... though I do actually pay for it.
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted November 24, 2004 Author Posted November 24, 2004 With the Wikipedia links I've gotten a few guests just now, one from Denmark. Yay. I'm not the writing type, so, sorry, I'm probably not joining. I may look around there occaisonally, and if I get interested I'll join and start commenting.
J'Dona Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 I don't expect more than two people on the whole of SFN to be interested (probably both with 1 post, joined in May 2003, and no visits since June 2003), so I wasn't trying to interest you personally. You don't need to join to leave comments though. The filth sibling isn't responding to AIM, no doubt because he's watching the Simpsons or at the pub. I'll keep bugging him though... May I ask though, how do those Wikipedia links you're referring to work? I didn't think it had any ads.
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted November 25, 2004 Author Posted November 25, 2004 May I ask though, how do those Wikipedia links you're referring to work? I didn't think it had any ads. I added links to it in "External Links." Then someone said it was spamming, but since there appears to be no policy on external links, I'm waiting to see what everyone else on Wikipedia thinks.
