Its a square, and no angle information is given, apparently its a quadratic equation. If you work it out, a explanation would be great. Thanks.

Guest MattNZ Posted October 24, 2004 Posted October 24, 2004 Yeah it seems very trig like, but its hard to do a trig problem given no angles. Apparently the answer is a quadratic equation, thereby possibly having multiple solutions
CPL.Luke Posted October 24, 2004 Posted October 24, 2004 yeah but with trig soh cah toa Sign is only equal to one angle given a certain ratio between two sides so it would be easy to find two angles in that diagram (if I knew the math) edit if we only had a congruency in the equation
