Erb Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 The way I always saw light, was that it is a wave that excites particles in what ever medium it is traveling through. The frequency of light is was what determined the distance it would travel or the influence it has on the excitement of the particles in that medium. Light being a particle and a wave. I figured that light was just a wave, the particle side of it, was actually particles being manipulated in the medium by that wave. Due to like particles liking each other so much, that was how gravity effected light. Because gravity effects particles in the light traveling medium the wave distortion was therefore due to the excited particles moving under the force of a given gravity. So basically the light wave isn't being moved, but the excited particles by that wave are!!
