smatrko Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Hello, I need to measure (max) contact force in liquid environment in a shrinking body. I have to choose a method with an object to measure it, and it ought be inch max size. My ideas are: - Object that would destruct under definite force - Object with wireless sensor - Object that would change temperature or light intensity under pressure Any suggestions would do
CaptainPanic Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Please explain again (and better) what you want, because it is not so clear.
smatrko Posted October 29, 2011 Author Posted October 29, 2011 Elastic body is shrinking and streching. Inside this body there is a liquid and I need to measure contact forces of body (elastic body) shells and some kind of a mesuring tool.
Xittenn Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Like say a variable conductive elastic material whose ohmic resistance changes with the amount it has been stretched? Where said material could be fashioned into a balloon like structure and filled to different levels with a liquid. After which a measurement of said materials ohmic resistance could be mathematically analyzed to equate to a certain contact force?
