bloodhound Posted October 26, 2004 Posted October 26, 2004 found this in yahoo news message board which is typically filled with racist comments about muslims and flame wars between libs and cons. but i found this gem. dont know where the author got it from. CHANGE A LIGHT BULB? TEN: 1. One to deny that a light bulb needs to be changed. 2. One to attack the patriotism of anyone who says the light bulb needs to be changed. 3. One to blame Clinton for burning out the light bulb. 4. One to tell the nations of the world that they are either: "For changing the light bulb or for darkness." 5. One to give a billion dollar no-bid contract to Halliburton for the new light bulb. 6. One to arrange a photograph of Bush, dressed as a janitor, standing on a stepladder under the banner "Light Bulb Change Accomplished." 7. One administration insider to resign and write a book documenting in detail how Bush was literally "in the dark." 8. One to viciously smear #7. 9. One surrogate to campaign on TV and at rallies on how George Bush has had a strong light bulb-changing policy all along. 10. And one to confuse Americans about the difference between screwing a light bulb and screwing the country.
Phi for All Posted November 5, 2004 Posted November 5, 2004 And did you notice that with all that, the light bulb still didn't get changed?
atinymonkey Posted November 5, 2004 Posted November 5, 2004 But they did viciously attack the electricity industry for providing low grade electricity. Later reports pointed towards terrorism being at fault, that America should protect the future of it's lightbulbs by eliminating the terrorist threat.
ydoaPs Posted November 5, 2004 Posted November 5, 2004 duh, it is bush administration. why would it get changed. really, what is with all the spam? Rofl thats hilarious
5614 Posted November 5, 2004 Posted November 5, 2004 "what is with all the spam?" and then you look at the role model... yourself....... rofl to that! besides this is general discussion and therefore normal forum laws are relaxed and besides it doesnt count towards your count post anyway, they are not spamming merely stating their thoughts and feelings about the original post. anyway... yeah, very good!
ydoaPs Posted November 5, 2004 Posted November 5, 2004 hold on, posts in gd don't go to your post count? wow, i thought my high number was from my billions of posts in various gd threads. news to me. that doesn't change the fact that it is spam.
Sayonara Posted November 6, 2004 Posted November 6, 2004 No, posts in GD don't contribute towards your post count any more. In answer to your query yourdad, posting a joke as a thread starter implies expectation of responses that convey an appreciation of the humour that is being offered.
