Hi there

I wanted to quote in my reply a section of mooey's posts that she had made into a quote (and of course whe I hit reply it stripped out the internal/previous quotes)

http://www.scienceforums.net/topic/61063-found-the-tree-of-knowledge-of-good-and-evil/page__view__findpost__p__635805

it was this bit

"Rewritten version of previous quote said:

Atheists and seculars can thus be seen as immature thinkers and true sheep. While Christians who recognize the evil in the God of the O T can be seen as better thinkers and able to discern good from evil. Atheists can be seen as poor thinkers who cannot discern evil. They end up with a philosophy that embraces everything from genocide to infanticide as long as their leader is doing it. Arguably an immoral position.

This is how atheists and seculars all end up hurting their parent philosophies."

But rather than cut n paste I would have prefered to have quoted with the special formatting - is there any way to do this?

Was that the question?

Nope Sorry Cap that wasnt what I meant. By posting two messages I will show you. I have quoted your message above in my message.

Now if I quote my message yours has disappeared - apart from copying and pasting or manually typing your words between quote tags how can I get the bit that says "CaptainPanic, on 2 November 2011 - 01:21 PM, said:" (and the rest of the box ) which clearly appears in the previous message to remain when I hit the reply buttin

This (above) then?

You can click on the quote in my post (which will get you a quote, with name, and tag), and select all, copy.

Then go back, and reply to the other post, which will get you the other quote tags, with name, time, etc.

And then paste the other one into that quote.

It's the only way I know of.
