Hey guys, first post !

A few Q's on momentum:

When a rock is falling down, it gains velocity due to Fg. Does this contradict the law of momentum ?

When your increase your kinetic energy by a factor of 2, then your momentum increases/decreases by a factor of ?

A rubber bullet R and a metal bullet M of equal mass strike a target T, R bounces off, M penetrates, which has a greater impluse?

Give an example of a collision in which the momentum a of system is not conserved and explain why in this case it was not.

Thanks in advance!

I faintly remember that we have a rule for the homework help section that you should not only copy-paste your exercises, but also comment on each what your thoughts about it are, what you tried to answer them, and where you got stuck. There are a lot of people here who are competent discussing these homework questions with you, but there is little point in just explaining the answers to you (that is the job of your teacher). So please share your own thoughts about these questions with us.
