Cdizzysupbaby Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 Hi everybody! Question for a take home biochem test that Im not sure how to answer: Receptor-mediated endocytosis is important in processing LDL; however, other peptide hormones also function by this method and may use receptor-mediated endocytosis instead of using a second messenger to transfer their ''signal.'' what could be the reason(s) for the hormone and its receptor to undergo endocytosis? Thank you in advance for any help you can offer me!
