MMM Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 Hi there, noob question, but i just looked a bit at cellular respiration and seeing that DHAP and PGAL are at the peak of the glycolysis energy curve wondered why, simply put, you could not eat those instead of glucose (cf. NADH). Are they toxic, instable, ...? What about other metabolic intermediates? Thanks!
