Hi,

I heard the other day that when you exoerience something that makes you jump or when you need to react fast like walking out in front of a car, your vision goes into black and white mode. Is this true?

yes and no, it actualy stays in full color, but the brain filters that out as a way of only paying attention to the important details such as movement etc...

there are certain electronic goggles that will present an image in Black/white usualy for thermal imaging (night vision). more often they`re black and green though.
