zapatos Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 Who? That may be the best rock album ever. Certainly on the short list.
michel123456 Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 That may be the best rock album ever. Certainly on the short list. My bet: you are born 1956 1
Function Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 Frankly it just made me realise why they pay John Williams so much. It was pretty formulaic - not impressed; what were you looking for in it? Nothing. I found without having to look for something. Guess it's the nostalgic feeling to it: I was 6 years old when the movie came out
Moontanman Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 Yes this was before MTV! Damn what happened to music? At least she didn't have to be naked riding a wrecking ball!
ajb Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 (edited) Quite dark for Helloween... this song as a real deep feel to it. Edited July 29, 2016 by ajb

zapatos Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 My bet: you are born 1956 Haha. Yes, I guess there is a reason I feel that way. 1958.

ajb Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 I think this will meet with your approval: Of course I know this... but thanks for sharing - education of the youth is important.
Function Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 (edited) By far my most favourite classical music piece. The climax in this version by Andrew Davis, at 3:38-3:43 is most exquisite. I like versions of Nimrod where the conductor takes the chance to make the brass "burst out" at the climax. Edited July 30, 2016 by Function
ajb Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 I'm listening to some nice boys from Ukraine... 'I will find a way to remember'... Abduction
StringJunky Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 (edited) I'm listening to some nice boys from Ukraine... 'I will find a way to remember'... Abduction I made sure I didn't have my headphones on before I hit 'play'... good job I did. I must be getting old. If I was going to start a genre like this I'd call it 'Deaf Metal'.
