PaulS1950 Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 As long as your chosen language is JAVA..... Not everyone codes in Java. Paul
doG Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 As long as your chosen language is JAVA..... Not everyone codes in Java. Paul Huh? All I could find there was challenges for javascript. Where did you find a Java section?
PaulS1950 Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 OK, old man here... Is there a difference between Java and Javascript? Be kind, I am 61 and have not kept up with the newer languages. (I have used BASIC, GWBASIC, A bit of Fortran, C, C++ and now I'm returning to ANSI C C89) If it is newer than that I really don't have a clue. Paul
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Yes, JavaScript is misleadingly named to sound like Java, since Java was popular at the time. They're separate.
PaulS1950 Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Thanks Cap'n. I will remember that from this point forward. You got to teach something and I got to learn something. It's been a great day so far! Paul
